A rural retreat with every amenity

04/08/2014 by Kirsty Keeton

A brand new Nottinghamshire housing development has opened for viewings, and has already been visited by a long list of potential buyers who were early to register their interest.

Pitomy Farm in Collingham, near Newark, has been built by local firm Gusto Homes – the brand behind the award-winning Millennium Green development in Collingham. This quality development of twenty-two 3, 4 and 5-bedroom homes is perfect for families or those looking to improve their lifestyle, and combines an idyllic rural setting with the convenience of amenities close by.

“We’re really pleased with how the development is progressing, and the homes truly give prospective buyers a glimpse into their future life within the village,” explains Steff Wright, CEO of Gusto Homes. “Not only do viewers get to see first-hand the quality workmanship and natural materials that have gone into building these modern day designs, but they also get to appreciate their picturesque countryside surroundings.”

Feedback on the layout and features of the homes has been hugely positive, with viewers particularly complimenting their kitchens, bathrooms, natural stone patio areas and overall energy-efficiency.

“Once visitors take a wander around the village and establish that they’ll be able to live in a quiet rural retreat, while still being within walking distance of shops and services, they really see the full benefits of both the homes, and their setting,” adds Steff Wright.

Gusto Homes’ reputation for excellence in 21st century house-building generated an early interest in Pitomy Farm, and the completion of stage one of the development has been greatly anticipated by those keen to be the first through the door.

“We’ve had an unprecedented amount of interest in the homes already, which is fantastic news,” adds Donna Beck of Newark-based sales agents Richard Watkinson Estate Agents. “We’re delighted by how well the whole development is progressing and confident that once finished, these lovely homes will be highly sought after.”
