Plot 1 is the original Chapel Farm farmhouse built at the turn of the 19th Century. Occupied until 1985 when it was vacated and left empty. Having stood for more than 200 years the property is undergoing complete restoration.

All ground level floors have been removed to allow the installation of a complete new foundation, an operation that has taken some sixteen weeks to complete.

New flooring will be provided to the ground floor consisting of insulation, underfloor heating from an air source heat pump and finished with flow-screed concrete.

Internally and externally the original brick is being retained and reworked. Internal walls will be been stripped back to allow the installation of new wall insulation and plaster to provide the 200 year old building with current day insulation levels.

The building extension has been built from reclaimed brickwork taken from the now demolished cow sheds providing an impressive addition that appears part of the original structure.

New handmade windows built to suit the original apertures will be installed and made to meet current building regulations. They will be sighted on new stone sills.

A new electrical system and heating system is provided. The heat source being an energy efficient air source heat pump manufactured by Samsung.

The original tiled roof has been completely removed to allow for the installation of an all new roof truss system, new felt and loft insulation. The building extension roof has been completed with reclaimed tiles from the demolished cow sheds

The property will be completed with new bathrooms and a handmade kitchen. If buying off plan the buyer has the option to select their own bathrooms and kitchen with the ability to make design changes to suit.
