Auction is becoming increasingly popular as a way to buy and sell property. The Home information packs may help speed up the house buying process but they haven't addressed the fact that as many as 1 in 4 house sales fall through after a sale is agreed and before it completes. Auction is also an excellent way to determine the property's true value. It is often difficult to arrive at a precise valuation on a property that has great potential or a plot of land; no two buyers would necessarily offer the same figure so at Auction the value finds its true level. Our two auctioneers, Richard Watkinson and Nick Bingham have many years of AUCTION experience. Richard Watkinson and Partners was founded in 1988 but prior to this date both Richard and Nick had already been selling property by auction for a number of years.
