RICS Homebuyer survey: Undertaken for vendors or purchasers. Consisting of a comprehensive standard 10+ page A4 report on conventional houses, flats, and bungalows, and focusing on urgent and significant matters.

Taxation: Carried out for capital gains tax purposes.

Probate and Matrimonial: To ascertain the value of a property to be included in the estate of the deceased, and in the case of matrimonial disputes, as a requirement for legal proceedings

Accountancy: Carried out for individuals or businesses, to confirm the value of a property for balance sheet purposes.
