Main Street, Redmile

We have pleasure in offering to the market this charming period cottage located at the heart of this highly regarded Vale of Belvoir village with a delightful aspect across to the pretty village church.

The property offers a wealth of character and features which begins with its aesthetically pleasing brick elevations beneath a pantiled roof; benefitting from replacement, hand crafted, cottage style timber casement windows behind which lies a versatile level of accommodation packed full of character.

Many of the rooms offer exposed beams, attractive fireplaces and traditional style fittings including a farmhouse style, hand painted, kitchen with oak butchers block preparation surfaces that links through into a useful utility space at the rear. The main sitting room affords a wealth of character, the focal point of which is a chimney breast with inset solid fuel stove and attractive block wood flooring. To the first floor there are two double bedrooms, the larger of which benefits from a southerly aspect into the rear garden, attractive cast iron fireplace and exposed floor boards. The second bedroom also has an exposed brick chimney breast and a pleasant aspect to the front across to the village church.

The main bathroom is a generous size with a relatively modern four piece suite with both a bath and shower enclosure and again has a pleasant aspect across to the church.

In addition the property is neutrally decorated through and benefits from gas central heating and timber casement double glazed windows and is offered to the market with no upward chain.

As well as the main accommodation the property occupies a deceptive plot fronting Main Street with on road parking and courtesy gate access to the side leading into a pleasant, enclosed, southerly facing rear garden. The rear garden is relatively generous by modern standards, is well stocked with an abundance of trees and shrubs and encompasses a really useful run of brick and pantiled outbuildings providing log stores, workshops and the potential for possible home office space.

Overall this is a great opportunity to purchase a really interesting, individual, character cottage within this well regarded village.
